Laser LK: 6 and 12 kW fiber laser cutting

Laser LK is our fiber laser cutting machine, for series production, prototypes and custom parts. We build it in two power versions, on the same 3000 × 1500 mm working table.

6 kW or 12 kW

The two versions differ in the maximum thickness they cut:

• LK3015 6 kW: up to 25 mm mild steel, 15 mm stainless and 10 mm aluminium
• LK3015 12 kW: up to 30 mm mild steel, 20 mm stainless and 16 mm aluminium

The laser sources are the Swiss Dynamics SD6000 and SD12000, and the cutting head is the Swiss Dynamics SDH12, with automatic focus. The assist gas, air, nitrogen or oxygen, is set automatically.

Fanuc controller

The machine runs on a Fanuc 0i Plus LF controller, made and tested in Japan. It has a touch screen and Fanuc software, with easy programming and automatic optimization of the cutting parameters. For programming, the CAM software is built into Fusion 360.

Precision and speed

The frame is made of precision-milled steel profiles. The drive gives 1G of acceleration, and positioning accuracy is 0.01 mm. A capacitive GAP sensor holds the cutting height, with a response time of 1 ms.

Two exchange tables

The two tables have electric and hydraulic drive. While the machine cuts on one, the operator unloads the parts and loads new sheet on the other, so the machine does not stand still between sheets.

Enclosed cabinet

The working area is sealed, with a sectional front access door. Fumes are extracted by axial fans at the top and exhaust ducts at the bottom of the machine.

Delivery and financing

Lead time is 4 months. For Laser LK we offer direct financing through Intelligent Labs, with a minimum 15% down payment. As with all our machines, the warranty is 24 months and service comes within 48 hours. The machine can also be rented with 0% down payment, through GRENKE.
